Some Comments: The so called experts that want more and more restrictions brought in, are not in the slightest bit concerned about pubs closing down, I can tell you that. It’s nearly a year since new controls started coming into effect between the UK and the EU due to Brexit, so how are EU businesses coping? The Chancellor said some 200,000 hospitality and leisure businesses would benefit from the grants to compensate for an average 40pc fall in revenue from the Government’s Plan B restrictions in the run-up to Christmas. The cash awards will vary according to the size of the business with those with a rateable value of more than £51,000 eligible for the full £6,000, those between £15,000 and £51,000 being offered £4,000 and smaller operations getting £2,666.
